INSECT REPELLENT 2 Tablespoons castor oil 2 tablespoons liquid soap Mix together until resembling a shaving cream like consistency. Add mixture to a gallon of water. Spray around area in question, or soak a rag in the mixture and leave in the area where animals are a problem. · 2 drops lavender, basil, lemon, or eucalyptus Flea Spritzer Blend: · 2 drops cedarwood, lemongrass, or rose geranium Boil water and remove from heat. Add dried herbs and simmer for 30 minutes. Allow to cool. While it is cooling, mix the essential oils and vodka in a bottle and shake well. When it is thoroughly blended (you’ll know because it will turn white) add the apple cider vinegar. Drain the cooled herbal tea and add that water to the oil, vodka, and vinegar. Spray this mixture on your dog’s coat, legs, tummy, and back. Apply as necessary avoiding face, nose, ears, and eyes.
Various combinations of clove oil, lemon oil, and peppermint oil diluted in much greater amounts of water have proven to be very effective insect repellants. Mosquitoes, wasps, ticks, fleas, and many other insects are affected. This method is very safe, inexpensive, and easy
to use. Use on skin, clothes, and pets, or just as an outdoor spray.
CHIPMUNK REPELLENT
Tick Spritzer Blend:
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon vodka
1 cup dried marjoram, eucalyptus, or rosemary
2 cups of water
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon vodka
1 cup of dried peppermint, eucalyptus, or bay leaf herbs
1- 2 cups of water

Make a 50/50 mixture of borax and granulated sugar. This mix can be used either dry or added to a bit of water to make a syrup. Put a little in a bottle cap and leave it where the ants are most problematic.
